Always Evolving SEO

AI search optimisation for AI Overviews, ChatGPT and beyond

Getting your business named and cited when people ask AI assistants about your category. Built on the SEO foundations those systems already depend on, not a separate trick.

From £3,000 a month · 3-month minimum

Problems we fix

  • Competitors named by ChatGPT or Gemini, but not you
  • AI answers describing your business inaccurately
  • Clicks falling while impressions hold steady
  • AI crawlers blocked by a CDN or firewall rule
  • No way to measure AI visibility or referral traffic
  • Content that ranks but never gets cited

How we approach AI Search Optimisation

Google's own guidance is that there are no special requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode: the pages they draw on must be indexed and eligible to show a snippet, and the same SEO practices apply. ChatGPT, Copilot and Perplexity work in a similar way, retrieving pages from a search index and summarising them. So the starting point for AI visibility is being findable and clearly the best answer in ordinary search.

What does change is what 'good' looks like. Assistants favour content that states facts plainly, an entity that's described consistently across the web, and brands that other sources mention by name. We audit how AI tools currently describe your business and competitors, then fix the gaps in content, entity signals and crawler access that decide whether you get cited.

What's included

AI visibility baseline
A set of prompts your buyers actually ask, run across the main assistants to record who gets mentioned, who gets cited and what they say about you.
Crawler access review
robots.txt, CDN and firewall rules checked for the crawlers each AI product uses, so you're making a deliberate choice about access rather than an accidental one.
Entity and brand clarity
Organization and Person schema, consistent descriptions across your site, profiles and directories, and the about-page content that tells machines who you are.
Answer-ready content
Key pages restructured so the answer to the question is stated early and plainly, with the supporting detail, comparisons and specifics that make a page worth citing.
Mentions and citations
A plan for being named in the sources AI tools lean on in your category: industry publications, comparison pages, forums and reviews.
Tracking and reporting
AI referral traffic segmented in GA4 and prompt-level visibility re-checked each month, reported alongside your organic results.

Who it's for

Brands missing from AI answers

Competitors get named when buyers ask an assistant for recommendations in your category, and you don't.

Businesses seeing fewer clicks

Impressions are holding up in Search Console but clicks are falling as AI Overviews answer more queries directly.

Teams asked about 'GEO'

Leadership wants an AI search strategy and you need one grounded in how these systems actually work, not hype.

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Prompt research

We build the list of questions buyers ask at each stage, from 'what is' to 'best provider for', and agree it with you.

  2. 2

    Baseline

Mentions, citations and sentiment recorded across the assistants for you and your main competitors.

  3. 3

    Foundations

Indexing, crawler access, schema and entity consistency fixed first, because citations depend on them.

  4. 4

    Content and mentions

Priority pages rewritten for extraction, and a mentions plan worked through month by month.

  5. 5

    Monthly re-check

The same prompts re-run and compared, alongside AI referral traffic and organic performance.

AI Search Optimisation questions

Something else? Ask us directly.

Is GEO different from SEO?

Mostly not. Google says the same SEO practices apply to its AI features, and other assistants also retrieve from search indexes. The differences are in emphasis: clear, extractable answers, strong entity signals and being mentioned by other sources. We treat it as an extension of SEO, not a replacement.

Can you guarantee we'll appear in AI Overviews or ChatGPT?

No. Nobody controls which sources these systems cite, and answers vary between users and over time. We can make you a far stronger candidate and measure the change.

Should we block AI crawlers?

It depends on what you sell. Blocking the crawlers used for AI search can remove you from those answers, while some training-only crawlers can be blocked with little visibility cost. We'll set out the trade-off for each one so it's a business decision.

How do you measure AI visibility?

Two ways: AI referral sessions in GA4, and a fixed set of buyer prompts re-run monthly to track mentions and citations. Neither is perfect, so we report both alongside your organic search data.

How much does AI Search Optimisation cost?

Retainers start from £3,000 a month with a minimum three-month term. The exact fee depends on the size of your site and how much delivery we take on. You'll get a fixed monthly figure in the proposal after the discovery call, with no surprise extras.

Why is there a three-month minimum?

The first month is mostly audit and planning, and search changes need time to be crawled, processed and measured. Three months is the shortest period in which you can fairly judge whether the work is paying off.
