Search Me! Leeds

Search Me! is a small evening event in Leeds organised by Shelley Walsh, built around the idea that a capped room produces better conversations than a conference hall. Attendance is limited to 50 people.

The format runs from early evening through to close, with pizza and networking before the talks rather than after, so the room has already been talking by the time the programme starts. The billed topics span RAG and how retrieval shapes what AI systems surface, brand strategy in an AI-mediated market, leading search teams, how web design is changing, and brand sentiment analysis.

The lineup is unusually senior for an event this size, which is largely the point: at fifty attendees the ratio of speakers to audience makes the informal half of the evening as useful as the scheduled half. For anyone in the north of England, it is a considerably cheaper way to hear this calibre of speaker than travelling to a London conference.
