Search Central Live Is Coming to Bogotá and Ciudad de México This October
By Paul Lovell · September 8, 2026 · 2 min read
Google has announced two new stops on its Search Central Live roadshow: Ciudad de México on October 15 and, for the first time ever, Bogotá, Colombia on October 19, 2026. The announcement follows earlier editions in Mexico, plus prior events in Argentina and Brazil, as Google continues building out its presence across Latin America.
Confirmed timeline
- Ciudad de México: October 15, 2026, 8:30am–1:30pm
- Bogotá: October 19, 2026, 2:30pm–6:30pm
- Registration deadline (both cities): September 16, 2026
- Confirmation emails sent: September 21, 2026, including venue address and event details
Both are free, in-person events with limited seating, so Google is encouraging early registration for a chance at one of the available spots.
Who it's for and what's on the agenda
Search Central Live events are aimed at SEOs, publishers, creators, digital marketers and website owners. Sessions cover Google Search, Google Discover and Google News, with some presentations delivered in English and Spanish translation available. Full speaker and agenda details are published on each city's event registration page rather than in the announcement itself.
The events are hosted by Google's Search Relations team, with this round posted by Martin Splitt (Search Relations) and Alejandra Brambila (Google News Partnerships, Mexico).
What this means
Search Central Live has become a recurring fixture rather than a one-off — Google now runs multiple editions per year across regions, having already visited Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, alongside events in Europe and Asia-Pacific. For SEOs and publishers in Latin America, that means more direct access to Google's Search Relations team without needing to travel to a global conference. If you're in or near Bogotá or Ciudad de México, the free-seat, limited-capacity format makes registering in the first few days worthwhile — Google's own events have sold out quickly in other regions.
We've also published a standing Search Central Live event guide tracking upcoming editions as Google announces them worldwide.
